Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi said that the distribution of 11,700 two-bed dignity houses under the GHMC on Saturday has made the dreams of the poor come true.
The beneficiaries who acquired a double-bedroom house in the Banjara Hills came to the Mayor’s camp office and expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
The Mayor said that the State government is proof of the transparent distribution of double-bedroom houses. In the first installment, selection was made through lottery. But in the case of distribution in multiple installments, all those who are eligible will get double bedroom houses without exception.
She said that as per the promise made by the Chief Minister, the goal of living with the self-respect of the poor will be fulfilled. Those who got double bedroom houses will not sell them under any circumstances and action will be taken against those who sell them and those who buy them.
On this occasion, the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the Mayor for distributing the houses.
