‘Don’t reveal anything about your past to your wives,’ jokes Venky

Venkatesh stars as the lead actor in the upcoming film Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, which is set to release on January 14, coinciding with the Sankranthi festival. The film features Aishwarya Rajesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female leads. The pre-release event for the film took place in Nizamabad, the native town of producer Dil Raju.
Speaking at the event, Venkatesh expressed his joy about the film’s function being held in Nizamabad. “You (the audience) have given me many hits throughout my career and I am truly thankful for that. Now, I’m coming with Sankranthiki Vasthunnam for this Sankranthi, and I appeal to everyone to come and watch this film. The film is packed with entertainment, good songs, and plenty of hilarious scenes. All the right ingredients are there in this film, and director Anil has crafted a wholesome entertainer.”
Aishwarya Rajesh plays his wife, while Meenakshi Chaudhary portrays a cop and his ex-girlfriend. In a light-hearted moment, Venkatesh jokingly advised, “Don’t reveal anything about your flashback to your wives.”
The actor showered praise on the two leading ladies and thanked director Anil for bringing such a project to life. “I’ve worked with producer Dil Raju on four films, and I look forward to doing many more with him in the future,” Venkatesh concluded.
Meanwhile, producer Dil Raju speaking at the event humorously said, “People of Andhra give a vibe with movie but people of Telangana give a vibe with Thella Kallu (Palm Wine) and Mutton.”
