DRM inspects Vizag rly station

Divisional Railway Manager, Waltair Division Shri Anup Satpathy did a surprise inspection of Visakhapatnam station on Monday. Divisional Railway Manager focused on cleanliness, coach maintenance issues, overcrowding, and safety-related issues to have first-hand feedback from passengers and to improve passenger convenience.

DRM Shri Anup Satpathy inspected the General Booking Office, Waiting halls, AC Relaxing lounge, Food courts, and One station one product Etikoppaka stall, etc, and interact with the vendors.

During his inspection, DRM interacted with the passengers in waiting halls and listened to their grievances, he counseled the passengers to keep their premises clean, to use dustbins for proper disposal of garbage, and to avoid footboard travel and ticketless travel. He also insisted passengers follow safety norms while commencing their journey in trains and complain on 139 or through social media for the inconvenience. DRM said surprise inspections will continue and strict action against the errors will be initiated.
