Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam atop the Indrakeeladri has received a ‘Hundi’ collection of Rs 3,13,34,270 in 17 days, earning an average income of Rs 8.43 lakh per day.
The temple authorities conducted the ‘Hundi’ counting at the Mallikarjuna Maha Mandapam, under the supervision of temple Executive Officer (EO) D Bhramarambha on Tuesday.
Devotees offered 994 grams of gold and 7.435 kg of silver ornaments to the presiding deity Goddess Kanaka Durga. Likewise, another Rs 55,623 was offered online.
