The BJP has reiterated that there are chances of early Assembly elections in Telangana and that they would be held along with the Karnataka Assembly elections. Telangana BJP leaders have been saying this one after the other.

On Monday, the defeated BJP candidate in Munugode, Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy, said that early polls to the Assembly can take place in Telangana.

He said that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao would go for early elections six months before the scheduled time. KCR has been getting ready for elections, he said.

There is a chance of early elections in the State and they will be held along with that of Karnataka, he said and declared that elections may be held in April or May. Rajgopal called upon BJP activists to be alert.

Rajgopal came to Nirmal to attend an important BJP meeting on Monday on the occasion of launching BJP state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar’s 5th phase Praja Sangrama Yatra on November 28 from Bhainsa.

Speaking on the occasion to the media, Rajgopal said that Telangana is witnessing poor governance. Rajgopal said that the Chief Minister was unable to sleep after seeing the vote percentage of the BJP in the Munugode by-poll. The TRS won the Munugode by-poll by misusing power, he said.

The TRS government tried to block Sanjay’s padayatra and public meeting in Bhainsa. This proves that the BJP is becoming strong in Telangana. He said that seeing the public support for BJP fear has started in KCR. He said the Congress has no future in Telangana and said that senior Congress leaders should join the BJP.

Stating that KCR’s dictatorial acts reminded one of Nizam’s rule in Telangana, Rajgopal said the BJP is going to sweep the erstwhile Adilabad district by winning all 10 of the Assembly seats. He made it clear that people would teach a fitting lesson to the TRS whenever elections are held.
