BJP senior leader Eatala Rajender has accused former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao of failing to fulfil the promises made to the people. He pointed out that present Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy was a greater “liar” than his predecessor.
Addressing a gathering at Rajarajeswari Cluster as part of the BJP’s Vijay Sankalp Yatra here on Tuesday, he offered to quit politics if Revanth Reddy implemented a Rs 2 lakh loan crop waiver at one go.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi recognised the services of safai karmacharis during the pandemic situation by washing their feet, he said.
Revanth Reddy would not be able to build houses for the homeless poor, disburse salaries to government employees and pension to the retired unless the Centre gave funds to the state, he said. Therefore, he appealed to the people to vote for the BJP and get all the benefits.
He charged KCR with failing to give the unemployment allowance, and 2BHK houses to the homeless poor and was unable to pay salaries and pensions.
Eatala ready to quit politics if govt waives crop loans at one go
Revanth Reddy made many promises asking people to vote for him. He promised Rs 4,000 pension per month, Rs 6,000 as pension per month to the physically challenged, waiver of crop loans up to Rs 2 lakh, and extend interest-free loans up to Rs 10 lakh for SHG women.
