Talasani says EC has given permission for Jagan to lay foundation for Steel Plant
The Minister of Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Dairy Development and Cinematography, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, pointed out the Central Election Commission’s bias.
Talasani said that the Central Election Commission had given permission to conduct the foundation stone laying ceremony of the Kadapa Steel Plant by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
He expressed anger that the EC had not given permission for the inauguration of the newly constructed secretariat in Telangana and that the opposition cannot stomach the new secretariat in Telangana. Talasani said that there is no alternative to the BRS in Telangana.
He said the election code was in force in Kadapa district too. If so how was permission given for the programme there? Talasani clarified that they are not envious that a function was allowed there.
“With this one example, one can see how the systems are running. The Telangana Government decided to inaugurate the new Secretariat on February 17. Arrangements were made on a large scale for this, but the MLC Election Code came into effect,” the minister said.
“The whole country is watching how the government at the Centre is running the system. Some cannot bear to see the new Secretariat. In future, everyone will know the greatness of the new Secretariat,” he said.
The EC notification for holding the Teachers’ MLC and the Local Body MLC elections in Hyderabad is going to be issued. The EC has already announced the schedule for releasing the notification for the post of Mahbubnagar, Ranga Reddy, and Hyderabad Teachers MLC seats. The notification will be released on February 16. Elections are being held on March 13 and the results will be out on March 16.
The state government informed the EC about the date of the inauguration of the new secretariat in the context of the implementation of the MLC Election Code.
