At the inauguration of a new industry producing eco-friendly, pollution-free carry bags, MLC Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy emphasised the need for promoting activities that benefit the public. He also highlighted the rising pollution levels in the environment and stressed that each individual should play a role in creating a cleaner and healthier society.
The new industry, Ramani Industries, which manufactures eco-friendly carry bags, was inaugurated by Rajgopal Reddy, along with Sherlingampally MLA Arikapudi Gandhi, at the Industrial Park in Dandu Malkapuram in Choutuppal Mandal, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri District.
Speaking at the event, Rajgopal Reddy pointed out that plastic carry bags have been causing severe environmental pollution—affecting the soil, water, and air.
He praised the innovative technology developed by DRDO to produce carry bags that do not harm the environment. The new bags, being produced by Ramani Industries, will help reduce pollution and contribute positively to environmental protection.
He congratulated the management of Ramani Industries for their efforts and commitment to environmental sustainability.
He assured full support to individuals and companies working towards creating a positive impact on nature. Expressing concern over the rising pollution levels in society, he noted that it has led to an increase in diseases, which is alarming and heartbreaking. He called on everyone to take responsibility and contribute towards environmental protection.
The event was attended by Nirmala Jaggareddy, Chairman of the Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation, Sudhir Reddy, Chairman of the Telangana Industrial Federation, Veerabrahmam, Scientist from DRDO, and several industrialists.
