ED questions Talasani’s brothers

Sleuths of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) questioned Talasani Mahesh Yadav and Talasani Dharmendra Yadav, brothers of Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, as part of the agency’s investigation into money laundering charges in the casino case. ED officials reportedly also issued notices to political leaders in casino case to TRS MLC L.Ramana and Medak DCCB Chairman Chitti Devender Reddy to appear for hearing on Thursday and Friday. Additionally, manager of casinos Chikoti Praveen Kumar and his relatives were questioned. Mahesh and Dharmender have reportedly gone abroad with Praveen in the past. The ED has identified Talasani Srinivas and certain other public representatives who had participated in the birthday celebrations of Chikoti Praveen.

It was found that Chikoti Praveen was chatting on WhatsApp with a Minister and three MLAs from the state. Based on these chats, they are inquiring about Praveen’s relationship with the respective politicians. Based on the answers given by Praveen, it seems that there is a possibility of the ED questioning the public representatives concerned if necessary.

Many interesting facts had come to light in connection with the casino racket operated by Chikoti Praveen and Madhavareddy in Nepal called ‘Kai Raj Kai’.The buzz is that VIPs and police officers queue up when Chikoti Praveen is hosting parties.Ten years ago, he celebrated his daughter’s birthday lavishly, shelling out crores of rupees. It is his habit to give gifts to VIPs and officials often.On June 12, he celebrated his birthday in a grand manner at Sama Saraswati Gardens in Champapet. It is said that he takes officials to the casinos he manages in places like Goa, Sri Lanka and Nepal.
