Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) Managing Director VC Sajnnar
on Monday inspected electric AC buses which will be available to public soon.
He took stock of the buses at the bus Bhavan. The 12-meter-long electric AC buses
have a capacity of 41 seats. These buses can travel more than 325 kilometers on a
single charge. Mobile charging facilities along with reading lamps have been installed at
every seat in the bus. For the safety of the passengers, a panic button has been
provided at every seat along with a vehicle tracking system. They will be connected to
the TSRTC control room.
Three CCTV cameras have been installed in each bus for recording backup of one
month. There is a reverse parking assistance camera to enable the bus to reverse and
LED boards in the front and back of the bus. It contains the details of destinations.
