Ensure CCC works efficiently: Collector

Prakasam District Collector AS Dinesh Kumar has directed the officials to ensure that the Command Control Centre (CCC) would work efficiently during the election period.
The Collector here on Thursday, accompanied by Assistant Collector Shauryaman Patel, visited the District Command Control Center set up in the Collectorate and inspected the departments of C Vigil, Expenditure, SVEEP, Suvidha Cell and Media Monitoring Cell.
The nodal officials concerned were directed to carry out monitoring from the District Command Control Center set up for General Elections 2024.
Speaking on the occasion, Collector and District Election Officer Dinesh Kumar said that the District Command Control Center was set up for the General Election – 2024 and has started functioning in full. He said that 14 nodal officers were appointed in this command control room for C-vigil, compliant reception unit and 1950 call centre, field monitoring unit & MCC, expenditure monitoring and permission & enforcement.
Dinesh Kumar said that all necessary measures are being taken to ensure that the code of conduct is strictly implemented; adding that complaints about model code violation can be sent in the C Vigil app. He asked people to make complaints through the C Vigil app by sending live photos and videos even if the party members distributed liquor, cash and gifts.
“Complaints filed in the C Vigil app will be resolved within 100 minutes,” he said, adding that apart from this, complaints can also be made to the 1950 call centre number. The Collector stated that so far 56 complaints had been received on various issues so far, out of which most of the complaints had come on MCC Violation.
He said that these complaints are cleared within 100 minutes on average. The Collector explained that control rooms have also been set up at all the constituency levels in the district. The Suvidha web portal has been set up so that all the permissions related to the election campaigns can be obtained at a single desk and the political parties should take advantage of the Suvidha portal. DWAMA PD Arjun Rao, Employment generation officer Bharadwaj and other officials were among those who accompanied the Collector.
