Etala Rajendra expressed gratitude to the public for voting him, at the media point after the counting at Keesara Holy Mary College on Tuesday.
He said, “I am a native of Malkajgiri. They trusted me and made me win. Votes were cast without losing the majority in any round. If you vote for me, there will be a safeguard. I was voted so that the foundation of progress will be laid. Cantonment roads, renovation of ponds, youth employment, housing for the poor, industrial corridor, all will be fulfilled. I will always be available to the people. Thanks to all the associations that have supported me. Thank you to all the Congress and BRS workers too who are in the party and voted for me.”
He also said that he has two duties. “We will fight for the guarantees given by the State government and will bring funds to the State from Modi’s government. We will participate in the development of the State. We are continuing to dominate by winning eight seats out of 17. Modi has reduced the gap between the rich and the poor in these 10 years. Job opportunities have been added to the youth. Infrastructure has been established. India’s self-esteem increased. People of the country will want Modi even after 10 years and that is why the admiration towards him can be understood.”
