The first chairman of the Telangana State Higher Education Council, Prof. T. Papi Reddy, is going to join the Congress soon.
Attending the ‘Dashabdi Daga’ (Decade of Cheating) programme on Thursday Papi Reddy launched a scathing attack on the BRS government.
He gave a call to the people saying that everyone must get ready to end KCR’s rule in the state and that he is joining the Congress as he thinks that both the BRS and the BJP are one.
Papi belongs to Adilabad and was Economics Professor at Kakatiya University and was Warangal District TJAC convener during the Telangana movement. KCR appointed Papi Reddy on August 5, 2014, as the State Higher Education Council chairman.
He served in that post for around seven years.
