Ex-minister Akhilapriya held when going to meet CM

Telugu Desam party leader and former Minister Bhuma Akhilapriya was held by police when she was leading a group of farmers to submit a memorandum to Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy at Yerraguntla on Thursday.
The Chief Minister is carrying out ‘Memanta Siddham’ programme in the district and as part of it he held an interaction session with farmers in Allagadda.
Former Minister Akhilapriya led a group of farmers to the programme to submit a memorandum to the Chief Minister.
However, the police prevented her at Yerraguntla village. Heated arguments took place between the police and the ex-minister on the occasion.
The police took Akhilapriya to Sirivella police station and freed her later.
