TPCC President Revanth Reddy said that Excise Minister V. Srinivas Goud has been grabbing lands including Waqf lands in Mahbubnagar district.

He said that BRS leaders are in all mafias like land, sand, mine and wine and that both Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and IT Minister KT Ramarao have acquired 1,000-acre farmhouses after the formation of Telangana state.

Addressing the gathering after inducting BRS leaders from the Mahbubnagar constituency into the Congress under the leadership of AICC Secretary SA Sampath Kumar on Sunday at his Jubilee Hills residence, Revanth said that Palamuru district had been deceived by KCR. He said that BRS leaders are involved in all ‘Danda’ (illegal businesses).

Revanth said that KCR did nothing for Palamuru district in the last nine years. He asked the police not to behave like BRS activists. “We will return with interest to the police if the police file false cases against Congress activists,” he said.

The TPCC president said that the Congress will complete the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Project immediately after coming to power. The Congress will take the responsibility to help those displaced by irrigation projects, he said. He called upon Congress leaders to ensure the victory of all the 14 Congress candidates in the 14 Assembly seats in Mahbubnagar district.

Former Mahbubnagar Municipal chairman Radha Amar, former Market Committee Chairman Amarender Raju, Counsellor Ramadevi and others joined the Congress.
