The Kashmir Files vs IFFI jury head Nadav Lapid

Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files was called a propaganda and vulgar movie at the International Film Festival of India. It was by the head of the jury Israeli filmmaker Nadav Lapid. No sooner did the filmmaker share his views on the movie than the entire cast responded to his remark with their disappointment. Finally, the Israeli filmmaker apologised for his comments on the same.

Liger funding Investigation

The ED officials grilled film director Puri Jagannadh and actor-turned-producer Charmme Kaur throughout the day. They were questioned about the source of investment into Vijay Deverakonda-starrer Liger which was released in August. American boxer Mike Tyson also played an extended cameo in the movie reported to have been produced with a budget of about Rs 125 crore.

The film starring Vijaya Deverakonda and Ananya Panday in the lead had mega shoots in Las Vegas. It, however, bombed at the box-office.

The ED took up the investigation after Congress leader Bakka Judson lodged a complaint about the investment into the movie through dubious routes.

Ranveer Singh’s Nude photoshoot

The Cirkus star is known for his unconventional dressing sense. However, recently he set the internet abuzz with his photoshoot for Paper Magazine’s cover shoot. The actor shed his inhibitions and posed for the cameras without a stitch of clothes covering his body.

Soon the actor was embroiled in a controversy as many criticised him for his bold photoshoot. But there were many others such as Vidya Balan, Alia Bhatt and more who stood by the Padmaavat star.

RGV licking Ashu Reddy’s feet

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has shocked one and sundry with his obscene-looking video with actress Ashu Reddy. RGV labelled the interview as ‘dangerous’, where the actress can be seen sitting on a chair wearing a neon green short dress while the filmmaker talks to her sitting on the floor, near her feet. And the next shocking thing he did was ‘licking her toes’. Speaking about his recent controversial ‘licking’ video, RGV stated that he felt the ‘dangerous’ emotion while sitting at Ashu Reddy’s feet from his heroine Apsara Rani’s dog named Harry Maharana.

Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt not allowed in Ujjain Temple

Ranbir -Alia came together for the first time in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. The team promoted the film on major platforms across the nation. A part of the team’s strategy was to visit several renowned temples across the country and greet their fans. But due to the Boycott Bollywood trend, people dug up old content and controversies of the actors and used it against them. The same took place in Ujjain and the stars refrained from entering the temple. The reason for this was an old video doing rounds on the internet about Ranbir Kapoor admitting to eating beef. This angered the Hindu community of Ujjain and what happened next was history.

Nayanthara-Vignesh’s surrogacy row

Tamil actress Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan recently became parents to twins through surrogacy. And ever since the couple announced their parenthood, they have been under the radar of the Tamil government, as there have been speculations that they have disobeyed surrogacy laws. Pathaan’s Besharam Rang

Recently, the first song from the highly-anticipated Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer Pathaan movie was released by Yash Raj Films and it has taken the internet by storm, but not necessarily for the right reasons. While the song has quite a catchy tune, with Shilpa Rao’s enchanting voice perfectly complementing Vishal and Shekhar’s music, and both Deepika and Shah Rukh look absolutely glamorous, the song is being trolled for its choreography and Deepika’s clothes, specifically a saffron-coloured bikini. Apparently, the choice of using a saffron-coloured bikini is hurting the religious sentiments of some people.

The title of the song, which can roughly be translated to ‘shameless colour’, has also become a sore point for these people as they are equating it to the saffron colour that Deepika wears in the video.
