FRIENDSHIP THAT LASTS A LIFETIME

When I was in school, my best friends were Balaji, Babu, and Murali. Nearly 40 years later, we continue to be great friends, staying in touch every alternate day. Despite living in different cities, our bond remains as strong as ever, as we make it a point to meet whenever possible. What keeps our friendship intact is our mutual understanding—money is never a topic of conversation. We made a pact not to borrow from each other, which has helped us maintain our friendship over the years. We talk about various things, have fun, and cherish our time together, but money is something we never discuss.
