Fruits of developmental works must reach people: Collector

District Collector Jitesh V Patil on Friday directed the officials to work in coordination to ensure that the fruits of developmental works and welfare schemes reach people. The Collector was holding a review meeting through video conference with the officials of various departments. He directed the officials of village panchyats to complete the Updating of voters’ list on tine in accordance with the instructions of the Election Commission. He told the officials that the Election Commission wanted the updated voters’ list on time. Jitesh V Patil told the panchayat officers to take up special sanitation driver at least twice a week. He asked the medical officers to visit the areas where seasonal fevers like dengue, chikungunya and others are rampant. He once against asked the officials to ensure that the Conocarpus plants are weeded out by August 31. The Collector directed the officials to resolve the problems being faced by the people without any delay. If people came to the officials with their problems, they should immediately respond positively.
