Revenue, Housing, Information and Public Relations Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy stated that the government will keep a ‘white paper’ before the people on December 20. Srinivas Reddy said that the government will start implementing two more guarantees from December 28 and the other two guarantees would be implemented from Sankranti. The Minister made it clear that the government will implement 6-guarantees at any cost though the government is facing financial crisis.
The Minister spoke to the media at Khammam after a review meeting at the Collectorate on Monday. Ponguleti said that the cleansing of Dharani portal has started and made that they will correct the mistakes in the portal.
Ponguleti said that the Congress government is going to expose the lootings that took place in the name of Dharani portal and will do justice to everyone who experienced loss. He said that the government is going to conduct an inquiry into the irregularities that took place in the irrigation projects under the previous government.
Srinivas Reddy said that the government is not one that will act vengefully. However, the government will not leave those who looted the government assets and lands, Ponguleti said that the government will correct all while conducting review meetings. He made it clear that the government is a friendly one. He said that the government will encourage officials,who work for the sake of people sincerely.
Ponguleti said, “The opposition party leaders are still under the illusion that they are in power. I am telling the opposition party leaders that the Congress government will not deceive the people like them. The previous government looted the rich Telangana State and emptied the treasury.”
The Minister said that the Congress government’s aim is to provide fruits of development to all common people. The government’s aim is to see that there would not be a family without a house, he said.
He assured that the government will do justice to the Village Revenue Assistants (VRAs) after discussing with the VRAs unions.
