George Reddy, Gaddar’s history not shown Student unions obstruct laser show at Osmania

The police arrested the leaders of the various student unions for trying to obstruct the laser show on Sunday at Osmania University. The university has been conducting laser shows every Saturday and Sunday through dynamic lighting and sound system at 6pm and exhibiting the history of eminent personalities.
However, some student unions tried to obstruct the show alleging that the organisers are not exhibiting the history of George Reddy and Gaddar.
Tension prevailed for some time at Osmania University, when the students protested. The police entered the scene and detained the student leaders. The student leaders raised slogans chanting ‘Johar Gaddaranna…Johar George Reddy’. The police shifted the student leaders to the police station.
