Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has said that the Tricolour should be hoisted at every house as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign. “We are celebrating 78th Independence Day on Thursday and by 2047, we will celebrate the centenary,” he said.
The CM, during a teleconference with TDP activists, said that the Central and State governments are moving ahead with the goal of Vikasit Bharat, Vikasit Andhra Pradesh and Vision-2047.
“‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign aims to infuse patriotism in the people, particularly the youth,” CM said, and told the party activists to pay rich tributes to the freedom fighters. The TDP chief wanted the party activists to make everyone a partner in the development of the nation and an impression be created that all castes, religions and regions are equal.
Maintaining that the Telugus can feel proud as the great Pingali Venkaiah, who had designed the Tricolour, is a Telugu, Chandrababu said that various leaders had taken different steps to develop the nation in a phased manner. “We should not only continue this development, but also take the nation much forward,” he added.
Declaring that Anna Canteens will reopen on Thursday on the occasion of Independence Day, the Chief Minister said that as promised during the electioneering, the Land Titling Act has been abolished. “We moved a step forward to fill 16,347 vacant posts through the District Selection Committee (DSC). In fact, we have laid the foundation in the whole country for skill census,” Chandrababu said, adding that free sand is being supplied to the people.
He said that YSRCP is resorting to false propaganda on the sand policy adopted by the government. “The party is trying to sling mud on us though we are supplying sand totally free of cost,” he alleged.
“The current regime has only completed 60 days in office,” Chandrababu said and expressed concern over the State facing various kinds of problems, including a deep financial crisis. “We are now focusing on resolving these issues.”
Chandrababu stressed the need for TDP moving forward along with the Jana Sena and the BJP. He made it clear that the Centre is extending its cooperation for the development of the State in all sectors. Pointing out that YSRCP was confined only to 11 seats in the last elections, though it had won 151 seats in 2019, Chandrababu told the party activists that this result clearly indicates how the party ruled the State.
“This is the reason why TDP activists should remember that the government should march ahead with the 1995 model,” he stated.
