Prime Minister Narendra Modi is supplying oxygen to the State which was on ventilator due to the inefficient rule of the previous government, remarked the Minister for Education, IT and Electronics, Nara Lokesh, here on Wednesday.
Addressing a public meeting after Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated and laid the foundation for Rs 2 lakh crore worth of various developmental projects here, Lokesh pointed out that the State is now facing a Rs 4,000 crore deficit budget every month and Modi is now supplying oxygen for the State. “The Prime Minister has already extended Rs 15,000 crore for Amaravati and Rs 12,157 crore for the Polavaram project while the Bhogapuram airport works have been taken up only after the NDA came to power,” the IT Minister stated.
“The visionary Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan have been making every effort to fulfil each promise made to the people despite the financial crisis. With a single signature, Chandrababu revised the pension by Rs 1,000 while the previous government had taken five full years to raise the pension by Rs 1,000,” Lokesh noted.
Pointing out that Anna Canteens have been reopened and free cooking gas cylinders are being supplied under Deepam scheme, Lokesh told the public that Mega DSC along with a job calendar will soon be announced. “That is CBN (Chandrababu Naidu) and today is a golden era in the development of Andhra Pradesh,” he observed.
“On behalf of the Beautiful City of Destiny, Visakhapatnam, we fondly welcome the Prime Minister. Modi is in the heart of every Indian and due to Modi, the whole world is looking towards India. Modi has given a totally different meaning to the post of the Prime Minister. Generally, PM means Prime Minister but Modi is People’s Man.
The vision of Modi is global but still his heart beats for the poor. Namo means trust of the poor, assurance to the poor and courage to the country,” Lokesh said.
Stating that Modi is working with the sole objective of development of the nation by releasing the Vikasitha Bharat-2047 document, Lokesh said that the country which was in 11th position in the world in 2014 has now reached the fifth position. Modi is making every effort to transform India into the first or second economic system in the world with his goal of Vikasitha Bharat-2047, Lokesh said, adding that with this inspiration Chandrababu released the Swarnandhra Vision-2047 document.
Pointing out that when Chandrababu released the Vision-2020 many people made fun of him, Lokesh said that if anyone goes to Hyderabad now one can easily find out that this vision has been realised. Modi laid the foundation on Wednesday for the projects which will totally change the face of the State and foundation has been laid for the Visakha railway zone, which is the dream of the people of North Andhra, he stated.
“Please extend your cooperation for the development of Andhra Pradesh as an elder brother. We will become partners in achieving the targets of Vikasitha Bharat-2047. I always strongly believe that if the States become strong society grows stronger. Now in every corner of the country, be it South, North, East or West, is in the grip of Namo mania,” Minister Lokesh maintained.
