We recently wrote about Kaliyugam Pattanamlo director Ramakhanth Reddy and actor Vishva Karthikeya and their reasons for making the film, which is all set hit big screens on March 29. Produced by Nani Movie Works and Raamaa Creations, the film stars Aayushi Patell as the female lead and speaking about her role in the film, she expressed, “My role will be very new. There are multiple shades in my character. It is not like a regular heroine role. Each scene will give the audience a new experience. My character gets one opinion in the interval and another in the climax.”
The actress is making her debut into films with Kaliyugam Pattanamlo. Despite getting opportunities for three other projects before this film, she didn’t accept them because she didn’t want to perform any adult scenes like kissing and exposing. “I got opportunities in three projects before Kaliyugam Pattanamlo was released. I don’t like lip-lock scenes and exposing on screen. That’s why I didn’t accept many movies. I am choosing movies where acting is important. I did not enter the industry to make money. It doesn’t matter if I do only a few films. All I want is to do good films.”
Good films matter over number of films for Aayushi Patell
The movie was majorly shot in Kadapa, and interestingly, no set was erected for this film, and all the shooting was done in live locations. Having shot there for many days, Aayushi finds the people of Kadapa very supportive. She further added, “The story was narrated to me for more than two hours. Ramakanth has great clarity. Our director never says cut. It’s because if he says cut, the expressions at the end will be missed. Our director used to be very jovial on the sets. RR took the movie to another level.”
