YSRCP national general secretary and Rajya Sabha member V Vijayasai Reddy have said that the YSRCP government, led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, has taken a crucial step to begin administration from the port city Visakhapatnam and to this extent it is setting up camp offices of ministers and officials in Millennium Towers.
He said that 1.75 lakh square feet of accommodation in A and B towers, allocation of buildings in different areas for 16 departments, 2.27 lakh square feet of this has been allocated for the secretariat and offices of various departments.
With good intentions, the Jagan Mohan Reddy government is taking steps to encourage education and made the Class 10 pass mandate for YSR Kalyanamastu and Shaadi Tofa and minimum age norms. He said that many people questioned why the condition of Class 10 passes and minimum age for YSR Kalyanamastu and Shadi Tofa, and the MP said that behind these conditions there is a sacred intention to curb child marriages and give importance to higher education. He said that Jagan has released Rs 81,64,55,000 under this.
Vijayasai Reddy said that he supports the proposal to draft a new law to stop deepfake videos and wants to take strict action against those who make false, indecent, and offensive videos. He said strict laws are needed on deepfake videos and it is sad that deepfake technology and the ability to create it is available in the public domain. Vijayasai Reddy said that this technology is being misused continuously and there is an urgent need to implement a law to stop this.
