Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu on Wednesday assured that the government is committed to resolving all pending issues of employees and will place a detailed report before the Cabinet on Thursday.

Addressing a meeting of the Joint Action Committee (JAC) of employee unions at the secretariat, Bhatti reiterated that the Revanth Government considers employee welfare a priority and will act positively.

Joined by ministers Sridhar Babu, Ponnam Prabhakar, and government advisor Keshava Rao, the Deputy CM said the Chief Minister had constituted both a ministers’ subcommittee and an officers’ committee specifically to address employee grievances.

“We have reviewed your demands. The financial backlog from previous years made it difficult to resolve everything at once, but the government is determined to act without further delay,” he explained.

He added that Thursday’s Cabinet meeting will include deliberations with the employees themselves in addition to the officials’ report. “You are not separate from the government. The welfare of employees is integral to the delivery of services and welfare schemes,” he told the JAC members.

Explaining the government’s approach, he said, “We are trying to meet your demands while ensuring no extra burden falls on the people. The government is working on fiscal adjustments to accommodate employee welfare.”

He also said that this intention was reflected in the government’s move to pay salaries on the first day of the month after coming to power.

Despite the financial pressures left behind by the BRS, Bhatti said the government had introduced numerous new welfare schemes and was simultaneously pursuing solutions for employees’ long-pending issues.

“We have already held several rounds of consultations and are aligning financial resources accordingly,” he added.

He assured the union leaders that the Chief Minister is fully aware of the difficulties faced by employees, particularly regarding marriage and medical expenses, and said there was consensus within the Cabinet on resolving these challenges.

“We will place the report prepared by the three-member officers’ committee, in consultation with the Finance Department and other officials, before the Cabinet. A solution will emerge,” he said.
