Governor rakes political storm after meeting Amit Shah everytime: TRS

Must read

PNS | Hyderabad

The Governor is creating political storms after meetings with Union Home Minister Amit Shah, a TRS leader said. He said that it is a “political drama orchestrated from New Delhi.”
“It has become a playbook of sorts for the TRS. The Governor goes to the Union Home Minister, pays a routine visit to give reports, and makes political statements. Last April also similar statements were made and now again in November a lot of political statements were made. Even though the Governor claims that these are routine visits to submit reports these are actually not routine. Even during her third anniversary, the Governor raised some issues about the Southern Regional Council meeting chaired by Amit Shah and criticised the government,” the TRS leader said.

TRS sources said that you can fool some people all time, and all people some of the time, but you cannot fool all people all the time. Sources said that people are watching not just Pragathi Bhavan but also the Raj Bhavan to New Delhi route as well.

In April the Governor said she had briefed the Union Home Minister and Prime Minister about the narcotic trade and corruption.

In September, the Governor said, “Home Minister (Amit Shah) was at the Southern Zonal Council meeting and it was instant solving of problems. I hailed the HM for making arrangements for such a programme. All CMs and officials were there but why didn’t KCR attend? The Home Minister was there to deal with all problems.” TRS sources questioned the timing of her visit to New Delhi immediately after the farmhouse issue and the Munugode by-poll.

However, Dr Tamilisai said, “I came here on the completion of my third year. My report on my third-year decisions was submitted to the Union Home Minister. This is just a routine visit. It is a routine report about problems we faced and the actions we have taken. We send it regularly,” she said. TRS sources said that there is no point in the Governor complaining about protocol when the Prime Minister himself gives it the miss. “Despite the tussle between the state government and the Governor, KCR respects the judiciary and visited the Raj Bhavan during the swearing-in of the Chief Justice unlike Prime Minister Modi who skipped the recent swearing-in of CJI Justice Chandrachud,” TRS sources said.
