The staff of Dr Nori Ramasastry Government Ayurvedic College in Governorpet paid a courtesy call to State Planning Board Vice-Chairman and Central MLA Malladi Vishnu in his office on Wednesday. The college staff expressed their gratitude to the Planning Board Vice-Chairman for supporting in reviving admissions in the college.
The admissions in the Government Ayurvedic Medical College have stopped this year, and the college staff has taken the issue to the notice of Malladi Vishnu. In response, he spoke to the Principal Secretary of Medical and Health AYUSH, Commissioner of AYUSH and Ministry of AYUSH – New Delhi. Keeping in mind the bright future of the students, the admissions have been re-started.
The Central government, Ministry of AYUSH has issued an order on November 28 allowing 75 undergraduate and 25 post-graduation seats for the academic year 2022-23. The students expressed their joy that their studies will continue uninterruptedly with the special initiative shown by the MLA Malladi Vishnu and thanked him for his sincere efforts. Malladi Vishnu informed that he is always ready to provide any assistance regarding the college.
