Govt. committed to safeguarding health of poor: Parthasarathy

Minister for Housing and Information and Public Relations (I&PR), K. Parthasarathy, reiterated the Government’s commitment to safeguarding the health of the poor.
On Monday, the Minister distributed Rs 6.55 lakh to 16 beneficiaries in Nuzvid for their medical treatment. The financial assistance was provided through the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF).
Speaking on the occasion, Parthasarathy emphasised that the coalition Government prioritises the health and safety of the poor and assured that it would support every needy individual.
“The Government is dedicated to helping people in distress. Medical expenses for treatments necessitated by accidents and illnesses are being covered through the CMRF,” the Minister stated.
He further informed that Rs 4 lakh had been distributed to eight beneficiaries in Nuzvid mandal, Rs 2.16 lakh to six people in Chatrai mandal, and Rs 57,000 to two individuals in Agiripalli mandal earlier
