Govt will ‘cleanse’ Registration Dept

There is a need to set right the Registrations Department and that it will be done by the government, Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said. He said that they will start cleansing the Registrations Department by transferring officials who have been serving for more than two years at one place. The Revenue Minister said the Congress government would release a white paper on Dharani Portal irregularities with evidence after exposing the corruption that took place through the Dharani Portal. He said that the BRS government had kept the Dharani Portal like a secret document and added that the Congress government would not hide anything. He said the government would remove options that are troubling farmers and would allow only options acceptable to the public. He said that some people had conspired to create a power shutdown, but the Congress government busted the conspiracy. He said that they will introduce the Bhumatha Portal keeping the good things of Dharani. Ponguleti promised that land would be handed over to the JNJ Society within a month after the election code is lifted.
