In Surveyal village under Samsthan Narayanapur mandal, the newly constructed school building complex was inaugurated with a traditional Purnakumbham welcome. The event was attended by the Gurukula School management and local dignitaries.
Munugode MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy paid floral tribute at the statue of Maddi Narayan Reddy, who donated land for the school. He also paid floral tributes at the statues of BR Ambedkar, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Abdul Kalam. The newly inaugurated school buildings were constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 18.61 crore, with additional furniture worth Rs 1 crore.
Following the inauguration, the MLA lit the ceremonial lamp to officially commence the school activities.
During the event, the MLA expressed his views on education and its importance for social progress. He stated that the Telangana government is striving to build world-class education system in the state.
Referring to the Surveyal Gurukula School, he highlighted its significant history and reputation, noting that the school has a distinguished place in the country, setting high educational standards.
He also praised Maddi Narayan Reddy for his generous contribution of 44 acres of land for the school, calling it an act of great generosity.
He commended the Congress government for its efforts to improve the educational infrastructure in Telangana under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.
