TPCC President Revanth Reddy said that the BRS government is going to install power meters on 27.50 lakh agricultural pumps. He threw a challenge at BRS leaders to come forward and prove his allegation that the BRS government is going to install meters on farm motors is wrong if they have the guts.

Speaking to the media on Thursday at his camp office, Revanth said that the Congress launched its election campaign with the Khammam meeting, but the BRS launched its campaign with protests against his comments.

Revanth made it clear that the protests and dharnas of the BRS proved that the Congress is the BRS’ main adversary.

He said that surveys revealed that 80 per cent of the 104 BRS MLAs are going to face defeat. The surveys also revealed that KCR is also going to face defeat in Gajwel and so he is now searching for another constituency.

Revanth said that KCR has been saying that his government has been spending Rs 16,000 crore to supply free power to farmers, but the BRS government is providing only eight hours of free power to small and marginal farmers.

Moreover, the BRS government is providing 10 to 12 hours of free power supply to BRS MLAs and BRS leaders’ farmhouses and lands. He also challenged BRS leaders for a debate on free power supply.

He asked how the government is spending Rs 16,000 crore to supply free power when it is not giving more than 12 hours of free power supply to farmers.
