Telangana Griha Lakshmi is a continuous process, said Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy. According to him, applicants would have nothing to worry about Griha Lakshmi, which provides financial assistance of Rs. 3 lakh to build their own house.
The Minister said: “There is no need to worry that the deadline has passed.Applicants can send applications to the District Collector, along with their representatives”.He said: “At present, every constituency can apply for Griha Lakshmi which will be given in the second phase after the completion of 3,000 houses in the first phase. So, the people without homes need not worry.” He said: “The amount should be paid to the District Collector through the local public representatives. There is no end date for this scheme…it is a continuous process. People must have white ration card. It should not be a slab house. Must have free space and must have caste certificate. These are the qualifications for Griha Lakshmi. Cash is given only in the name of women. No should one trust brokers. The first phase begins soon.”
