Guv participates in Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra

Governor of Telangana Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan participated in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra at Mirkhanpet village, Kandukur mandal, Rangareddy district on Thursday. This nation-wide initiative was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The event featured a range of informative and engaging activities, including raising awareness about 17 Union government schemes, including seven bank schemes and other welfare initiatives. Additionally, demonstrations showcased practical applications like using drone cameras in agriculture, setting up bank camps and organising health camps.
It also featured the solemn administration of the Hamara Sankalp Viksit Bharat pledge at Mirkhanpet village, followed by inspiring testimonies from successful beneficiaries. These beneficiaries shared their personal experiences of transformation under various government programmes through the ‘Meri Kahaani Meri Zubaani’ (My Story, My Voice) initiative.
In Telangana, the yatra will focus on ensuring that all targeted beneficiaries receive the benefits of these schemes within a specified timeframe, thereby contributing to the realisation of a developed India.
Expressing deep gratitude for the Prime Minister’s visionary leadership and commitment to public welfare, Governor Dr Tamilisai highlighted various welfare schemes initiated by the Union government under Narendra Modi’s leadership. She emphasised the importance of ensuring that these schemes, referred to as ‘Modi’s guarantee vehicle,’ reach every corner of the country.
