BRS MLA T Harish Rao strongly condemned Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s failure to accept his government’s failures in the matter of power cuts but instead blaming on all political parties and electricity employees.
Responding to the statement by the Chief Minister that employees along with Harish Rao are resorting to power cuts, BRS MLA on X said, “It is ironic to say that I am responsible for the failure of the power sector. The BRS government has built a robust system with the cooperation of the electricity workers to supply electricity continuously for 24 hours. Congress government collapsed that system in just 5 months. It has completely failed to supply sufficient electricity for domestic, agricultural and industrial needs”.
“It would be better if the CM stops such petty mischief and provides 24-hour electricity to all sectors in the same way that during KCR’s tenure. The CM seems to be under the illusion that everyone is involved in conspiracies like him. It would be better if they focus on governance”, Harish Rao.
He said, “Revanth Reddy is making baseless accusations against opposition parties and electricity workers to cover himself. To blame the electricity workers who played a vital role in the reconstruction of Telangana and to take action is to damage their self-esteem. It is unfortunate that the Chief Minister does not have the sincerity to fix the power cuts except to make excuses for the electricity workers”.
