Siddipet MLA T Harish Rao has observed that the parents are not compromising on the education of their wards because education is a valuable asset.
He was participating as the chief guest at the Teachers’ Day celebrations and presentation of the best teacher awards function held at the police convention centre here on Saturday. The programme was held under the aegis of the Telangana Recognised Schools’ Management Association. He said that the teachers should stay abreast of new methods. The education system has witnessed a significant progress in Telangana. The students have knowledge, but they should fight shy to speak more openly.
The teaching should promote native culture and foster bonds, he said, adding that the teaching should educate the value of parents and strengthen the familial ties. Majority of the students are attending the private schools, he said and wanted the CM to note this.
