The Telangana High Court allowed a public interest litigation petition seeking the transfer of the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) paper leakcase from the Special Investigation Team (SIT) to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The Court said that the move was essential for an impartial investigation and directed the registry to allow the PIL.

In March, the Court had refused to hand over the case to CBI when a petition was filed by the National Students Union of India. But with the slow pace of investigation, observed by court, the PIL was admitted. Three more persons were arrested in the TSPSC case on Wednesday. The SIT has arrested three relatives of Praveen — the main accused in the case. The latest arrests take the total number of arrests in the paper leakage case to 99. The investigation revealed that the three arrested accused had helped Praveen in the leakage of the question papers. On the other hand, the NampallyCourt rejected the bail petition of A2 Rajasekhar Reddy in this case. Rajasekhar Reddy’s bail petition has already been rejected three times.
