HC lawyers boycott work

Continuing their agitation, advocates of the Andhra Pradesh High Court on Monday boycotted work in solidarity with the two transferred judges – Justice Battu Devanand and Justice D Ramesh. After boycotting the day’s court work, the advocates gathered in large numbers in front of the High Court building and took out a procession raising slogans against the Supreme Court collegium and demanded the rollback of the decision to transfer of the two judges. The advocates hailed the contribution of the two judges and hailed them as people’s judges. The advocates vowed to continue their agitation until the transfer orders of the two judges are revoked.
