Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) President Arshanapalli Jagan Mohan Rao met Rachakonda Police Commissioner G. Sudheer Babu on Saturday and held talks about the forthcoming India-England Test match which is being held next month in Hyderabad.
The Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad will host the first match of the India-England five-test series from January 25. They discussed the security arrangements required for that international test match.
The HCA President asked for assistance to conduct the match smoothly. The CP said that he would come to Uppal Stadium on Tuesday to check.
HCA Secretary Devraj, Vice President Daljit Singh, Assistant Secretary Basavaraju and Treasurer CJ Srinivas met the CP along with the HCA President.
Jagan Mohan Rao was elected as the President of the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) in October. He won by just one vote. Jagan was an entrepreneur and the Secretary General of the Handball Association of India.
