Telangana records 12 new Covid cases, active cases 38 now

Hyderabad (PNS): Telangana recorded 12 new cases of Covid-19 on Saturday, taking active cases in the state to 38.
1,322 samples were tested in the state on Saturday and one patient recovered from the virus infection. No Covid deaths have been recorded in Telangana till now. The health department has made masks mandatory in public spaces after the detection of the JN-1 variant of Covid-19.
At present, the recovery rate is 99.51% whereas the death rate stands at 0.49%.
