The Supreme Court once again adjourned the hearing on the petitions filed by the AP government against the capital Amaravati. The State government has asked the Apex court to expedite the hearing in the petitions against the capital. The advocates on behalf of the AP government specifically mentioned before the bench of Justice KM Joseph and Justice BV Nagarathna that the arguments should be concluded quickly. Responding positively to the State government’s request, the Supreme Court made it clear that it will hear the petitions on March 28.

Although the hearing was supposed to be held last week, it was postponed after the Constitutional Bench stayed the hearing on miscellaneous petitions on Wednesday and Thursday last week.
