Heavy rainfall predicted

The Meteorological Centre has issued a forecast indicating a likelihood of heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated locations in both North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and South Coastal Andhra Pradesh over the next 24 hours.

According to their daily weather report, heavy rain is expected to occur at isolated spots in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and South Coastal Andhra Pradesh over the next 48 hours, with a similar prediction for Rayalaseema within the next 24 hours. Additionally, thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are expected to hit isolated areas in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh for the next four days, in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh for the next three days, and in Rayalaseema within the next 48 hours.

In terms of wind patterns, strong winds with speeds ranging between 30-40 Kmph are likely to persist in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and South Coastal Andhra Pradesh over the next 48 hours, and in Rayalaseema within the next 24 hours. Regarding rainfall distribution, light to moderate rain or thundershowers are anticipated at various places, ranging from several spots to just a few or one or two locations in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Rayalaseema over the next seven days.

During the past 24 hours, heavy rainfall was observed at one or two locations in Vizianagaram, Anakapalli, and Parvathipuram Manyam districts.
