Heavy to very heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 24 hours, Meteorological Centre said on Wednesday.
In a daily weather report here, it said that heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 24 hours and on July 22 and 23.
The same situation is likely to prevail in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 24 hours & on July 23 and in Rayalaseema on Sunday.
Thunderstorms accompanied with lightning are likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next five days and in Rayalaseema during the next 24 hours and on July 22 and 23.
Strong winds with speed reaching 30-40 Kmph is likely to occur at Isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next five days.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur at a few places or at many places or at most places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the same period.
Heavy rainfall occurred at one or two places in Sri Alluri Sitarama Raju district during the last 24 hours.Rain occurred at most places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & and few places in Rayalaseema during the same period. Southwest monsoon has been active in Coastal Andhra Pradesh and normal in Rayalaseema, the report added.
