Vijayawada Railway Division has set up special Help desks for the convenience of passengers at all major stations on Thursday.
Due to water level overflowing at danger level between Hasanparthy – Kazipet, train movement has been suspended in the section in both directions, as a precautionary measure, several trains plying on Vijayawada Division were diverted, cancelled, partially cancelled and short terminated.
To facilitate the passengers, the Help Desks are set up at all major stations like Vijayawada, Ongole Tenali, Samalkot, Eluru and Rajahmundry Stations. These Help Desks are being manned by Ticket Checking Staff. Emergency Helpline nos. are immediately made open for the public at Vijayawada and Gudur. The helpline numbers at Vijayawada- 08662576924 and at Gudur-7815909300.
Vavilapalli Rambabu, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Vijayawada Division appealed to the esteemed travelling public to utilize the services of the Help Desks and Emergency Helpline Numbers for all the latest train related updates. He said that frequent bulletins and latest train information are being disseminated through Print/ electronic media and all official handle of social media platforms for the convenience of the public.
He said that the Passengers are kindly requested to avail the services of Help Desks for information regarding Diversions, Cancellations and Short termination of trains. Frequent announcements and catering arrangements for train plying in diverted routes are also being monitored across the length of Division.
