Huge rush of Bhavanis at Durga temple

On Day 2 of ‘Bhavani Deeksha Dharana’ on Friday, Sri Durgamalleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam atop Indrakeeladri witnessed a large number of devotees.
KS Rama Rao, temple Executive Officer supervised the arrangements so that the devotees would not face any inconvenience in view of the rush of devotees who had specially come to visit the goddess on the occasion of Friday. The EO examined the queue lines, and ticket checking points and made some suggestions to the staff.
Devotees who had darshan of the deity specially participated in the regular services like Khadgamala Archana, Lakshakumkumarchana, Sri Chakra Navavarana Archana, Chandi Homa, Shantikalyana and other services.
On the occasion of ‘Kartika Masam’, the temple activities began at 09 am to 12 noon and the temple priests performed Sahasralingarchana Seva. In the evening at 6.30 Deeparadana seva was held near Nataraja Swamy temple. During Karthika Masam from November 14 to December 12, every day from 9 am to 12 noon Sahasra Lingarchana Seva will be held, and the price of a ticket Rs 500 per day, Rs 5116 per month, 6.30 pm Oonjal Seva is Rs 50. Other seva tickets can be obtained from the Devasthanams website www.kanakadurgamma.org, www.aptemples.ap.gov.in, or from the Devasthanam counter.
