I am not in the race: Bandi

Must read

The Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, dismissed rumours about his appointment as the BJP’s state president and said that they are baseless.
He said that the BJP brass is serious about social media, names appearing in the media and leaders who campaign for the post of the Telangana BJP president.
“I am not in the race for the TG party president post. The national leadership and Prime Minister Modi have entrusted me with ministerial responsibilities. The speculations in the media and on social media are false. The BJP functions with discipline and every BJP worker must abide by the decisions taken by the leadership. Don’t believe in the propaganda going on in the media and social media. The national leadership has not taken any decision yet. It is the job of BJP workers to implement whatever decision the party takes,” Sanjay said.
He recalled his tenure as the state BJP president, highlighting his struggles along with BJP workers. He emphasized that the BJP is strong in Telangana, holding eight LS seats, eight MLA seats and three MLC seats. Sanjay reaffirmed that once the BJP assumes power in Telangana, it will fulfil its promise to provide quality education and healthcare free of cost to the underprivileged.
