Criticising BRS MLC Kavitha for questioning how the ED will file cases as she is the daughter of Chief Minister and of Telangana, Union Tourism Minister G. Kishan Reddy asked Kavitha to explain whether the people of Telangana had asked her to enter the Delhi liquor business.
He also asked Kavitha to explain whether Telangana people asked her to enter the illegal liquor trade in Delhi along with AAP. Today the women of Telangana have to bow their heads in shame due to KCR’s daughter Kavitha, he said.
“I have never seen a woman getting involved in a liquor scam till now. The BRS government has already made Telangana a centre of liquor. Did Kavitha enter the illegal liquor business for Telangana’s women,” Kishan asked.
Expressing anger over Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s daughter Kavitha planning to stage a dharna at New Delhi on Friday demanding that the Centre should pass the Women’s Reservation Bill in Parliament, Kishan asked why Kavitha was shaking if she is not involved in the illegal liquor business. He asked Kavitha to explain why she destroyed several phones worth lakhs and asked her to reveal why she had destroyed her phones when the others did not destroy their phones.
There is no need for the Centre and Prime Minister Modi to target Kavitha, he said.
He said that Kavtiha is stuck in the liquor scam as she was involved in the illegal liquor business.
Addressing the media in New Delhi on Thursday, Kishan said that Kavitha spoiled Telangana’s image by getting involved in the Delhi liquor scam.
He said that both brother and sister (IT Minister KT Ramarao and Kalvakuntla Kavitha) were speaking lies on the liquor scam. Kishan said that both KTR and Kavitha are speaking as they liked crossing all limits.
Kishan said that nobody speaks lies like BRS leaders. He asked BRS leaders to explain whether the BJP had asked Kavitha to enter the illegal liquor business in Delhi along with AAP.
He said the Kalvakuntla family has no right to speak on the Women’s Reservation Bill and that Kavitha is enacting dramas in the name of a protest on the Women’s Reservation Bill in New Delhi only to divert public attention from the Delhi liquor scam and also to earn some public sympathy.
