I went to jail for TS but Revanth was jailed in ‘vote for note’ case: Eatala

Reacting to TPCC President Revanth Reddy’s comments against him, BJP MLA Eatala Rajender said that he had not insulted anyone. He said that he had not mentioned the name of Revanth during his press conference.

“KCR is committing excesses. Revanth must join the BJP if he wants to fight KCR. The Congress and the BRS are roaming together in Parliament,” Eatala said.

He said that Revanth used abusive words like ‘Nee Amma,’ and ‘Nee Yebba’ even while crying.

“I am asking Revanth a straight question. How did you go to jail? What is the similarity between you and me? I will rub my nose on the ground if anyone can prove that I engaged in blackmailing,” Eatala said.

He said that the police keep Revanth under house arrest whenever he calls any party protest. “Why did the same police sent Revanth right royally on Saturday to Charminar Bhagyalaxmi Temple? Revanth must stop blackmail politics.”

Speaking to the media at the State BJP office on Sunday, Eatala said that he would stick to his word that the decisions of national parties are taken in New Delhi.

Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao was the first person to respond when the Surat court delivered its verdict. He said that it was a black day. “Where did this sudden regard come from?” he asked.

Eatala said that he thought that Revanth will fight like a brave man and not cry.

He said that he was jailed when he was a student. “I fought against capitation fees, diet charges and university decisions. Where was Revanth during the Telangana Movement? Revanth was with Chandrababu. We have not forgotten that Revanth came to the Karimnagar public meeting carrying a gun. I still remember that a Telangana activist named Ashok grabbed Revanth’s gun,” he said.

Eatala asked Revanth to reveal where he was when he (Eatala) was in Karimnagar and Mahbubnagar jails. “Revanth went to jail in the vote-for-note case and not for the people,” he said.

He said that KCR tried everything to defeat Komatireddy Rajgopal in the Munugode by-poll by giving money to the Congress. This was discussed all across Munugode, Eatala said.

He said that even Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, K. Jana Reddy and AICC President Malllikarjuna Kharge had said that they will have an alliance with the BRS.

“Revanth would have cried on Saturday knowing these things and not because of me. His dream to become the CM of Telangana has been shattered and so he cried,” he said.

Eatala asked Revanth who said that the building being constructed near KBR Park is illegal to reveal why he did not go to the building site while inviting the media.

“I have no culture of taking oath at temples. Revanth must tell whether the Congress and the BRS are going to have an alliance or not?” he said and made it clear that he is fighting KCR and not Revanth.

Eatala asked Revanth to explain why he did not speak a single word when BRS MLC Kavitha got involved in the Delhi liquor scam.

Terming BRS MLC Padi Kaushik Reddy as a ‘mental case,’ Eatala said that KCR sent money to defeat 12 BRS leaders in the 2018 elections.

“I have information about the money given to the leaders of Huzurabad, Yellareddy, Peddapalli and Ramagundam by KCR to defeat the BRS leaders there,” he said.
