I will not function dictatorially like KCR, says CM Revanth ‘Why are people coming to South India for jobs from Gujarat and UP’

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy stated that he has great respect for Prime Minister Narendra Modi but Modi should explain why the people from Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh are coming to South India for jobs.
Targeting Prime Minister Modi CM said, “I have great respect for Modi. However, I would like to ask Modi to explain why people are coming from Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh to South India for jobs. Why are people from other states not going to UP and Gujarat? Is this the development brought about by Modi? Some people focus on marketing. But we work hard.”
On the other hand, CM Revanth Reddy wondered why the opposition is saying that people are angry with him.
“Are people angry with me for launching social welfare schemes? Only the politicians in power have changed but officials are the same. Officials will go to jail if I order a probe. However, I will not function dictatorially like KCR,” the CM said.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy was speaking while taking part in ‘Koluvula Panduga’ where he launched the ‘Build Now’ portal in Hyderabad on Thursday.
The Chief Minister handed over compassionate appointment letters to candidates selected for posts in the Panchayat Raj and Municipal Administration departments.
Addressing the gathering, the CM said that people who got the first opportunity, whether small or big, will be remembered for a lifetime. This occasion is also significant in the lives of the candidates who got jobs. Compassionate appointments are your right. These are the jobs that you inherited from your family members, he said.
The BRS government’s refusal to carry out recruitments on compassionate grounds for 10 years is visible. We are completing these appointments to ensure that such negligence does not exist when the Congress is in power, he said.
“Unemployed youth fought for Telangana state. Even after the state was formed, the hopes of those who died for Telangana have not been fulfilled. Soon after coming to power, the ‘people’s government’ filled 57,924 posts in government service. Some leaders are saying that the BRS government issued notifications for the jobs and that the Congress government has done nothing,” he said.

“Doesn’t the opposition know that the unemployed were facing problems as the government was not conducting recruitment exams during the last 10 years? The BRS rulers gave posts to their family members. Don’t you see the suffering of these poor job hopefuls in Telangana? Why didn’t the BRS government think of giving jobs for the poor? What we did in 10 months is remarkable. Why couldn’t you do it in 10 years?” the CM said.
“No other state in the country has filled 57,924 government posts in just 10 months after coming to power. The government will give appointment letters to candidates selected for around 2,000 posts in Group 1, 2 and 3 services in a few days,” he said.
“As the BRS has not done anything it is saying that our government should also fall in line. That is the reason why the opposition is creating hurdles,” he said.
Earlier, decisions used to be made by a single person and were party-centric. Today, we are taking decisions as per the public’s wishes, he said.
“The ‘Build Now’ portal is intended to check irregularities in sanctioning building permits in Hyderabad city. Everyone irrespective of their status in society should apply online for permission. Our objective is to deliver a transparent administration to the people. This is the Telangana Model,” the CM said.
“Some of our rivals are saying that the people are angry with us. Are you angry with me for giving appointment letters to the unemployed? Are you angry with me for providing opportunities to women and for generating solar energy to compete with the Adanis and Ambanis? Are you angry with me for allowing women to travel free in TGSRTC buses and for supplying 200 units of free electricity to the poor? Why should people be angry with us?” Revanth said.
“Some opposition leaders said that I do not have a grip on the administration. We may not have grown up in ‘Gadi’ (forts), but we grew up watching the poor in the Nallamala forests. That is why we are generous. Opposition leaders have no humaneness in them. The leader of the opposition never comes out of his farmhouse,” the CM said.
“Some people are talking about the Miss Universe pageant crossing their limits. That is a wonderful opportunity to expand the tourism business in Telangana. Representatives from various countries will visit Hyderabad and Telangana will emerge as a well-known tourist destination. The world is looking at Telangana as the state is hosting the 72nd Miss Universe pageant. The event will generate business worth hundreds of crores in future,” he said.
“Opposition leaders swindled public funds in the name of the Formula E race. There is no comparison between me and the opposition leaders. The BRS rulers were careless. Our government is committed to developing the state,” the CM said.
