Chief Secretary Dr KS Jawahar Reddy reviewed the Employees Health Scheme (EHS) with the officials of the departments concerned on Wednesday. The CS, during the meeting, discussed the implementation of Dr YSR Arogyashri scheme along with the employees’ health scheme, medical reimbursement and other issues.
The CS reviewed various issues like inclusion of more procedures in the EHS, hike in the existing packages for EHS, increase in the monthly contribution of employees, increasing medical reimbursement limit, support for diseases such as cancer without limitation and one time master health checkup to all government employees above 40 years of age.
Dr Jawahar Reddy told the officials that if a comprehensive report was prepared on all the issues, a decision would be taken at the State-level after talking to the employees associations.
MT Krishna Babu Principal Secretary Medical Health, Principal Secretary (HR) Finance Department Chiranjiv Choudhary, P Bhaskar Secretary Services Department, Dr Harikrishna, Special Secretary (CMRF), Harindra Prasad CEO Arogyasri, TSR Murthy EO Arogyasree and other officials were present.
