Padi Kaushik Reddy seems to be the scapegoat in the Eatala Rajender security story. Eatala’s wife Jamuna had said that BRS MLC Padi Kaushik Reddy is conspiring to kill her husband.
IT Minister KT Ramarao responded and asked the DGP to take action and in three days everything was put in place to ensure Eatala’s security.
Earlier, when Kaushik was asked whether if he was being scapegoated, he said the party will not do any such thing. In fact, he said that when KTR called the DGP he was also informed about it.
Kaushik has been saying that Eatala is resorting to murder politics and that his only aim is to defeat Eatala. Interestingly, Kaushik has not asked for enhanced security.
Looking at the importance given to Eatala by the BRS, conditions are more favourable for the party. However, a prominent BRS leader from Huzurabad denied that Padi Kaushik Reddy is being scapegoated.“The lives of opposition leaders are important to us. That’s the message KT Rama Rao is giving here. We will face anyone politically be it Eatala Rajender or Revanth Reddy and ensure that they are defeated. But the security of opposition leaders is of paramount importance. Our politics is based on values,” a BRS leader said.
The BRS leader said this won’t harm the prospects of the BRS in Huzurabad. When asked if Kaushik Reddy will still win, the leader said that the BRS will certainly win.
Kaushik Reddy was made an MLC, government Whip and the district BRS in-charge. BRS leaders do not think that he is being scapegoated.
